3-Ingredient Watermelon Slushy

Slushy Ingredients
  • 2 cups frozen watermelon cubed
  • 0.5 lime juiced
  • 0.25 cup ice cold water adjust as needed

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Citrus Juicer
  • Mason jar or serving glass

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes into a blender.
  2. Squeeze the juice of half a lime directly into the blender over the watermelon.
  3. Pour in the ice cold water.
  4. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and reaches a thick, slushy consistency. Scrape down the sides if necessary.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass or mason jar, garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For the best texture, freeze your watermelon cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet before transferring them to a bag so they don't stick together. If you want a sweeter slushy, add 1 tablespoon of agave nectar or honey.
