4-Ingredient Mint Oreo Bark

Ingredients
  

Bark Ingredients
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or vanilla candy melts
  • 12-15 Oreo cookies roughly crushed
  • 0.5 tsp pure peppermint extract
  • 2-3 drops green gel food coloring

Equipment

  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Rubber spatula

Method
 

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into rough chunks with a rolling pin. Set aside.
  3. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments at 50% power, stirring in between, until smooth.
  4. Stir in the peppermint extract and green gel food coloring until the color is vibrant and uniform.
  5. Fold 3/4 of the crushed Oreos into the melted green chocolate.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos over the top, pressing them in gently.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes until completely set, then break into pieces and serve.

Notes

Be sure to use GEL food coloring, not liquid, to prevent the chocolate from seizing up.
