Ingredients

Donut Ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated flaky large biscuits 16.3 oz can, usually 8 count
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 cup fruit jam or jelly strawberry or raspberry preferred

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Piping bag with round tip
  • Small Bowls
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Separate the canned biscuit dough into 8 individual rounds.
  3. Place the biscuits in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch. Cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  5. While still warm, brush the cooked donuts lightly with melted butter and immediately roll them in the granulated sugar to coat.
  6. Use a chopstick or small knife to poke a hole in the side of each donut, wiggling it to create a pocket inside.
  7. Transfer the jam into a piping bag with a round tip and pipe the filling into the warm donuts.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

If you don't have a piping bag, a ziplock bag with the corner snipped off works perfectly.
