- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, oregano, thyme, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry. Brush generously with olive oil or melted butter.
- Rub the spice mixture thoroughly over the top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- While salmon bakes, combine avocado, yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, and garlic in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add water gradually to the sauce until it reaches a drizzle-friendly consistency.
- Serve salmon hot, drizzled generously with the avocado sauce and garnished with lime wedges.
Notes
Store leftover sauce with plastic wrap touching the surface to prevent browning.
