  • 1 whole ripe banana peeled
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp oats rolled or old-fashioned
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter creamy
  • 1 tsp honey or to taste

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of oats, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, and 1 teaspoon of honey.
  2. Pour the milk into the blender first to ensure the blades can move freely.
  3. Add the oats, peanut butter, and honey into the liquid.
  4. Break the ripe banana into chunks and add it to the blender.
  5. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until the oats are fully broken down and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with banana slices or a sprinkle of oats if desired.

Notes

For a thicker, colder smoothie, use a frozen banana or add a handful of ice cubes before blending.
