Blue Scooby Snack Shots

Ingredients
  

Drink Base
  • 1 oz Coconut Rum like Malibu
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice 100% juice preferred
  • 1 handful Ice cubes for shaking
Garnishes
  • 2 tbsp Whipped cream canned or fresh
  • 1 pinch Blue and yellow sprinkles
  • 1 Maraschino cherry
  • 1 tbsp Fresh pineapple chunks optional, for the glass

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Shot glasses or small hurricane glasses
  • Jigger or Measuring Cup

Method
 

  1. Optional: Place your shot glasses or cocktail glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill. If using, drop a few fresh pineapple chunks into the bottom of the glasses.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with solid ice cubes.
  3. Pour the coconut rum, blue curacao, and pineapple juice into the shaker over the ice.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and cold.
  5. Strain the bright blue liquid into your prepared glasses, leaving the ice behind.
  6. Immediately top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  7. Garnish with blue and yellow sprinkles and a maraschino cherry on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

To make a pitcher for a party, mix equal parts of the rum, curacao, and juice in a large pitcher. Keep refrigerated and shake individual portions with ice when ready to serve.
