Ingredients

Wrap Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled or chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 cup lettuce chopped or shredded
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder optional

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Griddle
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy using your preferred method (skillet or oven). Drain on paper towels and break into large pieces or crumbles.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Form each into an oblong patty to fit the shape of the tortilla. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the pan briefly to melt the cheese, then remove from heat.
  5. Lay out the flour tortillas. Place a handful of chopped lettuce in the center of each.
  6. Place a hot, cheesy beef patty on top of the lettuce, and generously sprinkle with the crispy bacon pieces.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla in over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom like a burrito to secure the ingredients.
  8. Wipe the skillet clean and return to medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the dry skillet and toast for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and sealed. Serve immediately.

Notes

Warm your tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds before folding to prevent tearing. Add your favorite burger sauces like mayo, ketchup, or mustard right before folding!
