Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces and set aside.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 oblong patties or cook loose in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Lay out the flour tortillas. Place a layer of chopped lettuce in the center of each.
  4. Top the lettuce with the hot ground beef, followed evenly by the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a sealed wrap.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast for 2-3 minutes until golden and sealed. Flip and toast the other side until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Always toast your wraps seam-side down first! This uses the heat to seal the tortilla shut so your ingredients won't spill out while eating.
