Method
- Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces and set aside.
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 oblong patties or cook loose in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Lay out the flour tortillas. Place a layer of chopped lettuce in the center of each.
- Top the lettuce with the hot ground beef, followed evenly by the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a sealed wrap.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast for 2-3 minutes until golden and sealed. Flip and toast the other side until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Always toast your wraps seam-side down first! This uses the heat to seal the tortilla shut so your ingredients won't spill out while eating.
