Cheesy Garlic Bread Spaghetti Bowls

Crispy hollowed-out garlic bread rolls stuffed with savory spaghetti bolognese and topped with melted mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients
  

Bread Bowls
  • 4 large crusty rolls or mini boules hollowed out
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Pasta Filling
  • 8 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 0.5 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain fat. Add marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Toss cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce until fully coated.
  5. Slice tops off bread rolls and hollow out the centers.
  6. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush inside and outside of bread bowls.
  7. Fill bowls generously with spaghetti mixture.
  8. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread is toasted.

Notes

Use the scooped-out bread to make breadcrumbs or toast them for dipping!
