- Peel the banana. If using frozen banana (recommended for creamier texture), break it into chunks.
- Add milk, cocoa powder, honey, banana, and vanilla extract into a blender.
- Add ice cubes if you are using a fresh banana or prefer a slushier consistency.
- Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream and chocolate chips if desired.
Notes
For a vegan version, use almond or oat milk and maple syrup instead of honey. Add a scoop of protein powder to make it a post-workout meal.
