Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Unroll the crescent dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Pinch all seams together and shape into a 10-12 inch circle.
- Brush the entire surface of the dough evenly with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough, going all the way to the edges.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the sugar is bubbly and caramelized.
- If using glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the warm pizza.
- Let cool slightly, cut into 8 slices with a pizza cutter, and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to restore crispness.
