Method
- Simmer cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest in a saucepan for 10-12 minutes until thickened. Let cool.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Top each slice with a piece of Brie cheese and return to oven for 3-5 minutes until melted.
- Top melted cheese with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with thyme sprigs before serving.
Notes
To save time, cranberry sauce can be made 3 days in advance. Use a store-bought balsamic glaze for convenience.
