Ingredients
  

Stuffing
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
Chicken and Breading
  • 4 large chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritos crushed
  • 2 eggs large, beaten
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese, cheddar, and crumbled bacon in a bowl.
  3. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with the cheese mixture.
  4. Dredge chicken in flour (seasoned with garlic powder), then egg, then crushed Doritos.
  5. Place on a baking sheet or in air fryer basket.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes (oven) or 18-22 minutes (air fryer) until internal temp is 165°F.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before serving to let the cheese set.

Notes

Use a wire rack on the baking sheet for maximum crispiness.
