- Peel and mince the garlic cloves finely. For a smoother sauce, mash the minced garlic into a paste using the side of your knife.
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and ground pepper.
- While stirring, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until fully incorporated and the sauce is glossy.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.
