- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook, breaking it into crumbles, until browned (approx 8-10 mins).
- Drain excess fat if desired, but leave a small amount for flavor.
- Add the undrained cans of tomatoes and green chilies to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to low. Add the cubed cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir constantly until the cream cheese is fully melted and blended into a smooth, creamy sauce.
- Simmer on low for 3-5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with chips or veggies.
Notes
For a slow cooker version, brown the meat first, then add all ingredients to slow cooker on Low for 2 hours.
