Ingredients

Pizza Rolls
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough 8 oz
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 4 sticks mozzarella string cheese cut in half (or 1 cup shredded)
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce plus more for dipping
Garlic Butter Glaze
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush
  • Pizza cutter or knife

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the dough. If using crescent rolls, pinch perforations to seal, then cut into 8 equal rectangles.
  3. Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each rectangle.
  4. Top with 3-4 pepperoni slices and half a mozzarella stick.
  5. Fold dough over the filling and pinch edges tightly to seal into a roll or pocket.
  6. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Brush over the rolls.
  7. Air fry in a single layer for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Brush with any remaining butter, sprinkle with parmesan, and serve warm with marinara.

Notes

Ensure edges are sealed very tight to prevent cheese from leaking out during air frying.
