Ingredients

Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon cooked until crispy
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce shredded
  • 2 large tomatoes seeded and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter for searing
Secret Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Chef's Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, and parsley. Refrigerate until needed.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet or oven until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Wash lettuce and dry thoroughly. Seed and dice the tomatoes.
  4. Lay tortillas flat. Spread secret sauce in the center of each.
  5. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon strips over the sauce.
  6. Fold sides in, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a burrito.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat with butter. Place wraps seam-side down.
  8. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and sealed. Cut in half and serve.

Notes

Ensure you seed the tomatoes (remove the wet center) to prevent the wrap from getting soggy. Pan-searing the wrap seam-side down first is crucial to keep it from unrolling.
