  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Dish
  • Serrated Bread Knife
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the cheese slices over the bottom buns.
  4. Top the cheese with the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon.
  5. Add the remaining cheese slices on top of the bacon, then place the top slab of rolls on over the filling.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
  7. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops and sides of the rolls.
  8. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for another 5-8 minutes until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  10. Let stand for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders.

Notes

Ensure bacon is cooked crispy before adding, as it won't crisp up inside the bun.
