Method
- Pour simple syrup onto one small saucer and pink sanding sugar onto another.
- Dip the rim of each shot glass into the syrup, then immediately into the pink sugar to form a thick crust. Set aside.
- Peel and thinly slice the kiwi into half-moons. Cut the strawberries into small wedges for garnishing.
- Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Add the citrus vodka, watermelon pucker, sweet and sour mix, and grenadine.
- Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is frosty and the liquid is thoroughly chilled.
- Strain the pink mixture evenly into the prepared shot glasses, filling them 3/4 full.
- Top off each shot glass with a quick splash of lemon-lime soda.
- Gently float a slice of kiwi and a piece of strawberry on top of each shot. Serve immediately.
Notes
To make a non-alcoholic version, replace the vodka and pucker with cranberry juice and extra pink lemonade.
