Method
- Measure Rice Chex cereal into a very large bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Stir vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour mixture over cereal and fold gently with a spatula until evenly coated.
- Transfer coated cereal to a large Ziploc bag or container with lid containing the powdered sugar.
- Seal and shake vigorously until cereal is coated white.
- Spread onto a baking sheet to cool and mix in the chopped Butterfinger pieces.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Use creamy peanut butter (not natural style) for the best coating consistency.
