Method
- Clean and dry a large rectangular wooden serving board.
- Arrange pepperoni slices in overlapping rows at the top of the board to form a triangular hat shape.
- Place a row of mozzarella pearls along the bottom edge of the pepperoni to create the hat's trim.
- Add a cluster of mozzarella pearls at the tip of the pepperoni hat for the pom-pom.
- Mound the shredded mozzarella cheese in a 'U' shape at the bottom to form the beard.
- Cut the provolone slices into teardrop shapes and place them in the center for the moustache.
- Place one pepperoni slice on the moustache for the nose, and two black olives above for the eyes.
- Serve immediately with crackers on the side, or refrigerate until guests arrive.
Notes
Keep refrigerated until 20 minutes before serving.
