Festive Santa Charcuterie Board

Ingredients
  

The Hat
  • 6 oz pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mozzarella pearls bocconcini
The Beard & Face
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or white cheddar
  • 8 oz cream cheese or hummus optional base
Face Details
  • 2 whole black olives pitted
  • 2 slices provolone cheese thick cut
  • 1 box assorted crackers for serving

Equipment

  • Large Wooden Board
  • Knife
  • Serving Spreader

Method
 

  1. Clean and dry a large rectangular wooden serving board.
  2. Arrange pepperoni slices in overlapping rows at the top of the board to form a triangular hat shape.
  3. Place a row of mozzarella pearls along the bottom edge of the pepperoni to create the hat's trim.
  4. Add a cluster of mozzarella pearls at the tip of the pepperoni hat for the pom-pom.
  5. Mound the shredded mozzarella cheese in a 'U' shape at the bottom to form the beard.
  6. Cut the provolone slices into teardrop shapes and place them in the center for the moustache.
  7. Place one pepperoni slice on the moustache for the nose, and two black olives above for the eyes.
  8. Serve immediately with crackers on the side, or refrigerate until guests arrive.

Notes

Keep refrigerated until 20 minutes before serving.
