Ingredients

Yogurt Base
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt Greek or regular
  • 0.5 cup fresh or frozen raspberries chopped
  • 0.5 cup fresh or frozen blueberries chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Silicone spherical mold or baking sheet
  • Knife for chopping berries

Method

  1. Wash and finely chop the raspberries and blueberries to release their juices.
  2. In a mixing bowl, lightly fold the chopped berries into the plain unsweetened yogurt.
  3. Gently stir only a few times to create a marbled red, white, and blue effect without fully blending the colors.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a silicone spherical mold or drop small dollops onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
  6. Remove from the mold and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
  7. Serve to your dog as a cooling, healthy snack during hot weather.

Notes

Ensure the yogurt contains no Xylitol. Start with small portions if your dog is new to dairy.
