Ingredients

Rim & Garnish
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar for rimming
  • 1 wedge lemon to wet rim
  • 6-8 fresh blueberries
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
The Cocktail
  • 2 oz blueberry vodka or regular vodka
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz white cranberry juice or lemonade
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Martini Glass
  • Cocktail Pick
  • Small Plate

Method

  1. Place your martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
  2. Pour the granulated sugar onto a small shallow plate. Run the lemon wedge around the rim of the chilled glass to wet it.
  3. Dip the wet rim into the sugar, twisting gently to coat evenly. Set aside.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine the blueberry vodka, Blue Curacao, white cranberry juice, lime juice, and ice cubes.
  5. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels very cold.
  6. Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
  7. Skewer 4-5 blueberries onto a cocktail pick and rest it on the rim. Add a sprig of mint and serve immediately.

Notes

For a creamier, lighter blue version, add a splash of coconut cream before shaking.
