Frozen Yogurt Banana Dog Treats

Ingredients
  

Base Mixture
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt xylitol-free, unsweetened
  • 2 ripe bananas peeled
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 1 tsp honey

Equipment

  • Blender or Food Processor
  • Silicone Molds
  • Baking sheet
  • Freezer

Method
 

  1. Peel the ripe bananas and break them into chunks.
  2. Place banana chunks and plain Greek yogurt into a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Place silicone molds on a baking sheet for stability.
  5. Pour the mixture into the molds, filling them almost to the top.
  6. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours or until completely solid.
  7. Remove treats from molds and store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Always check peanut butter and yogurt labels to ensure they do not contain Xylitol (birch sugar), which is toxic to dogs.
