Ingredients

Dough
  • 350 g Flour All-purpose
  • 250 g Yogurt Plain, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 30 g Butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley optional, chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Air Fryer
  • Rolling Pin
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the yogurt and mix until a shaggy dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal pieces and roll each into a flat disk or oval, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Mix the minced garlic into the melted butter in a small bowl.
  6. Place flatbreads in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd). Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Remove from air fryer and immediately brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Notes

If using Greek yogurt, you may need to add 1-2 teaspoons of milk if the dough is too dry.
