- Boil water in a small pot. Add ramen noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes (al dente). Reserve 1 tbsp water, then drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar until sugar dissolves and sauce bubbles.
- Add drained noodles (and reserved water) to the pan. Toss well to coat noodles in the glaze.
- Push noodles to the side of the pan. Crack egg into the empty space and fry until white is set but yolk is runny.
- Remove from heat. Top with Everything Bagel seasoning and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra richness, add a drizzle of sesame oil at the end.
