Method
- Dip the rim of a glass into caramel sauce, then into crushed gingerbread cookies to coat.
- Drizzle caramel sauce inside the glass in a swirling motion and place in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, molasses, and all spices.
- Blend until smooth and thick, being careful not to over-process.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared chilled glass.
- Top generously with whipped cream and place a gingerbread man cookie on top.
- Add a candy cane or peppermint stick and serve immediately.
Notes
For a thicker shake, use less milk. For a boozy version, replace 1/4 cup milk with bourbon or rum.
