  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese shredded

  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried sage optional
  • 1 dash salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground sausage until cooked through. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. Cook the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and crumble.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream together with a hand mixer until completely smooth.
  5. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried sage, salt, and pepper.
  6. Fold in the cooked sausage, most of the crumbled bacon, half of the green onions, and the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses until well combined.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake uncovered for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  9. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with the remaining bacon, green onions, and fresh parsley. Serve hot with crackers or chips.
