Ingredients

Whip Base
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice unsweetened

Equipment

  • High-powered blender (recommended)
  • Measuring cups
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Ensure blender pitcher is clean and dry.
  2. Layer ingredients by adding pineapple juice first, followed by vanilla ice cream, and finally the frozen pineapple chunks.
  3. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, using a tamper or stopping to scrape sides if needed, until perfectly smooth and velvety (30-60 seconds).
  4. Serve immediately in chilled bowls or pipe for an authentic look.

Notes

For best results, use standard-quality vanilla ice cream (higher fat content) and ensure the pineapple is hard-frozen. Garnish with a mint leaf or a caramel drizzle.
