Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Butter one side of each bread slice. Toast in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
- Optional: Place cheese on bread while in the pan to melt slightly.
- Spread honey mustard sauce generously on the non-buttered side of the toast.
- Layer arugula, folded turkey slices, and seasoned avocado slices on the bread.
- Close the sandwich, slice in half diagonally, and serve immediately.
Notes
Add bacon for an extra crunch. Use gluten-free bread if necessary.
