Ingredients
  

Latte Base
  • 1-2 shots espresso hot, or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 tsp honey adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract pure
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon plus more for garnish
Assembly
  • 0.75 cup milk whole, oat, or almond
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Brew 1-2 shots of espresso (or prepare very strong coffee).
  2. While the coffee is still hot, stir in the honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until completely dissolved.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the milk over the ice.
  5. Pour the spiced espresso mixture over the milk to create a swirl effect.
  6. Stir gently to combine and sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon if desired.

Notes

For a smoother drink, mix the cinnamon with the honey first to create a paste before adding the hot coffee.
