Ingredients

Dip Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 1 can
  • 0.5 cup key lime juice fresh or bottled
  • 1 tbsp lime zest freshly grated
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
For Serving
  • Graham crackers
  • Fresh strawberries halved
  • Fresh pineapple chunks
  • Vanilla wafers

Equipment

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Electric hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Silicone spatula
  • Serving Bowl

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until perfectly smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Gradually pour in the sweetened condensed milk while mixing on low speed until fully incorporated and creamy.
  3. Add the key lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract (if using). Mix just until combined.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the dip to thicken.
  5. Garnish with extra lime zest and a strawberry half if desired. Serve chilled with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, and fresh fruit.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is completely at room temperature before mixing to avoid a lumpy dip.
