Ingredients

Chicken Filling
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Wrap Assembly
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
Garlic Butter Glaze
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh parsley. Set aside.
  2. Toss the diced chicken in a bowl with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and wipe the pan clean.
  4. Lay tortillas flat and divide the cooked chicken evenly among them. Top each with mozzarella and a slice of provolone cheese.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly like a burrito to secure the filling.
  6. Brush the outside of each wrap generously with the prepared garlic butter.
  7. Heat the cleaned skillet over medium-low heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook 2-3 minutes per side until crispy, golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Notes

Use a block of cheese and grate it yourself for the best, creamiest melt.
