Oreo Shake Delight

A thick, frosty, and completely indulgent cookies and cream milkshake made with vanilla ice cream, milk, and classic chocolate sandwich cookies, all generously topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients
  

Milkshake Base
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 3-4 Oreo cookies
  • 0.5 cup vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes
Toppings
  • 1 dollop whipped cream generous amount
  • 1 tbsp Oreo crumbs for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Tall serving glass
  • Wide straw

Method
 

  1. Place your serving glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to frost it.
  2. In a blender, add the milk first, followed by the ice cubes, vanilla ice cream, and the 3-4 whole Oreo cookies.
  3. Secure the lid and blend, starting on low speed and increasing to high, for about 30 to 45 seconds until the shake is thick and frosty, but still has small cookie pieces.
  4. Pour the blended milkshake into the chilled glass.
  5. Top generously with a tall swirl of whipped cream.
  6. Crush an extra Oreo cookie and sprinkle the crumbs over the whipped cream. Serve immediately with a wide straw.

Notes

For an extra decadent touch, drizzle chocolate syrup down the inside of your glass before pouring the milkshake in.
