Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the banana thoroughly. Add peanut butter and egg, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a stiff dough forms. Use hands to knead if necessary.
- Pinch off small pieces of dough, roll into ropes, fold in half, and twist to create the shape.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and firm.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack to harden before serving.
Notes
Ensure your peanut butter does not contain Xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
