Method
- Arrange plastic shot cups on a baking sheet. Optional: Dip rims in syrup and sugar.
- In a large bowl, mix boiling water and Jell-O powder. Whisk for 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
- In a separate cup, combine vodka, schnapps, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and cold water.
- Pour the cold alcohol mixture into the hot gelatin mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour mixture into shot cups, filling about 3/4 full.
- Refrigerate for 4 hours or until firmly set.
- Top each shot with a pink Starburst candy just before serving.
Notes
Do not freeze the shots to speed up setting; this ruins the texture. Keep refrigerated until serving.
