- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla protein powder, oat flour, and sea salt until well combined.
- Add the creamy almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mash together with a spatula. The mixture will look dry and crumbly.
- Add the almond milk exactly one tablespoon at a time, mixing vigorously after each addition.
- Continue adding milk until the mixture forms a thick, cohesive, scoopable dough consistency. Do not over-thin.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Enjoy immediately, or for best texture, chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before eating.
Notes
Plant-based protein powders absorb much more liquid than whey. If using a vegan protein, you may need to double the amount of milk used to reach a dough consistency.
