  • 0.33 cup mayonnaise high quality
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin preferred
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (approx 2 tsp)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.25 tsp ground pepper black pepper

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Whisk or spoon

Method

  1. Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves (or use a microplane to create a paste).
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and ground pepper.
  3. Stir vigorously until all ingredients are completely incorporated and smooth.
  4. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

If raw garlic is too sharp for you, let the minced garlic soak in the lemon juice for 10 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients.
