Method
- Preheat oven to 200°F (95°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange 24 pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place one unwrapped caramel square on top of each pretzel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes, until caramel is soft but not melting.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a second pretzel on top of each caramel to create a sandwich. Let cool completely.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each pretzel sandwich halfway into the chocolate, then place back on parchment paper.
- Sprinkle immediately with sea salt before the chocolate sets.
Notes
Ensure the caramels are soft store-bought squares. Hard candies will not work.
