Ingredients

Main Components
  • 1 box fudge brownie mix plus ingredients listed on box (eggs, oil, water)
  • 24 fresh strawberries washed, hulled, and dried
  • 24 marshmallows standard size
Chocolate Drizzle
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter for shine

Equipment

  • Wooden Skewers
  • Baking Pan (9x13)
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Chef's Knife

Method

  1. Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to package directions in a 9x13 inch pan. Allow to cool completely (this is critical for clean cuts).
  2. Remove cooled brownies from the pan and cut into approximately 1-inch squares. You will need about 24 squares.
  3. Wash strawberries and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels. Remove the stems (hull them) to create a flat surface.
  4. Thread the ingredients onto the wooden skewers in an alternating pattern: Strawberry, Brownie, Marshmallow. Repeat until the skewer is full.
  5. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth and glossy.
  6. Lay the kabobs on a serving platter or parchment paper. Drizzle the melted chocolate generously over the skewers.
  7. Serve immediately or let the chocolate set slightly before serving.

Notes

Tip: Briefly freeze the brownies before cutting to get perfect, sharp edges.
