Ingredients

Brownie Base
  • 1 box fudge brownie mix plus ingredients on box (eggs, oil, water)
Kabob Assembly
  • 24 fresh strawberries washed, dried, and hulled
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 12 wooden skewers 6-8 inches long
Topping
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional, for shine

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Pan
  • Wooden Skewers
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions. Pour into pan and bake until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (usually 20-25 mins).
  3. Allow brownies to cool completely. For best results, chill in the fridge for 1 hour to make cutting easier.
  4. Remove brownies from pan and cut into 1-inch squares.
  5. Wash strawberries and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Slice off the tops.
  6. Thread ingredients onto skewers: Start with a strawberry, then a brownie cube, then a marshmallow. Repeat if skewer length allows.
  7. Place assembled skewers on a serving platter or parchment paper.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  9. Drizzle melted chocolate over the skewers. Let set for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dry before assembly, otherwise the chocolate won't stick and the marshmallows may get soggy.
