Cocktail Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 2 oz pineapple juice chilled
  • 2 oz lemon-lime soda such as Sprite or 7Up, chilled
  • 1 cup ice for serving
Garnish
  • 1 slice fresh pineapple
  • 1 maraschino cherry
  • 1 cocktail umbrella

Equipment

  • Rocks Glass
  • Bar Spoon or Straw

Method
 

  1. Fill a rocks glass completely to the brim with fresh ice cubes.
  2. Pour the Malibu Coconut Rum and Blue Curacao directly over the ice.
  3. Add the chilled pineapple juice.
  4. Top the drink off with the lemon-lime soda.
  5. Gently stir the cocktail with a bar spoon or straw to combine the ingredients without losing carbonation.
  6. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge on the rim, and a maraschino cherry skewered on a cocktail umbrella. Serve immediately.

Notes

To make a pitcher for a crowd, multiply the ingredients by 8. Mix the rum, curacao, and juice in a pitcher. Add the soda just before serving over ice.
