Ingredients

Cocktail Base
  • 2 oz Tequila Silver or Blanco
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Lemonade
  • 0.5 oz Sour Apple Pucker
  • 0.5 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz Sprite to top
Garnish & Rim
  • 1 wedge Lime fresh
  • 1 slice Pineapple fresh
  • 1 tbsp Tajin or Chili-Lime Salt for rimming the glass

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Rocks Glass
  • Jigger or Measuring Shot

Method

  1. Prepare the glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip it into chili-lime salt (Tajin). Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the Tequila, Pineapple Juice, Lemonade, Sour Apple Pucker, and Blue Curacao.
  3. Shake: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the shaker feels frosty cold.
  4. Strain: Strain the blue mixture into the prepared ice-filled glass.
  5. Top: Pour the Sprite over the top of the drink. Do not shake the soda.
  6. Garnish: Add a wedge of lime and a slice of pineapple to the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use Blanco tequila to maintain the bright blue color. Reposado may turn the drink slightly green.
