Method
- Take your clear drinking glass and use a spoon to smear the thick coconut milk yogurt in a cloud-like pattern around the inside walls. Place the glass in the freezer while you blend.
- Add the frozen strawberries, vanilla protein powder, almond butter, and almond milk to a high-speed blender.
- Start blending on low speed. Use a tamper to push the frozen fruit down into the blades. Only add a tiny splash more milk if absolutely necessary.
- Increase speed gradually and blend until the mixture becomes a very thick, smooth, soft-serve consistency.
- Remove the prepared glass from the freezer. Spoon or carefully pour the thick strawberry smoothie into the center of the glass, allowing the yogurt swirls to show on the edges.
- Add a glass straw and enjoy immediately!
Notes
A high-speed blender with a tamper is highly recommended to achieve the thick soft-serve texture without adding too much liquid.
