Ingredients

Smoothie Base
  • 0.5 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana frozen and sliced
  • 0.5 cup frozen raspberries
  • 0.5 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 0.25 cup coconut milk canned, full-fat
  • 0.5 cup almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Mason Jar
  • Spoon

Method

  1. Ensure all your fruits (strawberries, banana, raspberries, pineapple) are completely frozen for the thickest texture.
  2. Pour the almond milk and coconut milk into the bottom of your blender to help the blades catch the fruit.
  3. Add the honey directly into the liquid mixture.
  4. Add the frozen strawberries, banana, raspberries, and pineapple chunks into the blender.
  5. Blend on low speed for 30 seconds, using a tamper if necessary to push the fruit down into the blades.
  6. Increase speed to high and blend for another 45-60 seconds until completely smooth, thick, and glossy.
  7. Pour or scoop the thick smoothie into a mason jar and enjoy immediately.

Notes

If the smoothie is too thick to blend, add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time until the blades catch. Do not add too much liquid or it will become watery.
