Method
- Remove imitation crab from packaging and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Chop the crab meat into bite-sized chunks (approx. 1/2 inch pieces).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, dill, pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Add the chopped crab, diced celery, and minced red onion to the bowl.
- Gently fold the mixture until all ingredients are evenly coated in the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Stir gently before serving. Garnish with extra fresh dill if desired.
Notes
Serve with crackers, on croissants, or over a bed of greens.
