Method
- Brew your espresso or strong coffee and set it aside to cool slightly.
- Take a tall glass and drizzle the thick caramel sauce heavily down the inside walls.
- Add the vanilla bean paste to the bottom of the glass.
- Fill the glass about 3/4 full with large ice cubes.
- Pour the milk over the ice.
- Gently pour the cooled espresso over the milk to create a layered effect.
- Stir well before drinking to combine the caramel and vanilla with the coffee and milk.
Notes
If your caramel sauce is too stiff, warm it for 5 seconds in the microwave before drizzling it into the cup so it coats the sides beautifully.
